Privacy policy

The short version
- We keep what a shop puts in, and what we need to run and protect the service. Nothing more.
- We do not sell information and we do not show ads.
- Each shop's data is kept apart from every other shop's. Passwords and PINs are stored scrambled (hashed), never as typed.
- You can export your data, and you can ask us to delete it.
What we collect
- When you sign up: shop name, your name, email address, the web address and username you choose, a hashed password, and when you accepted the terms.
- What your shop enters: orders (including your customers' names and phone numbers, if you enter them), file names, notes, your team's names and hashed PINs, and the work records your team makes (who worked on which order, when, how many pieces, and on which machine).
- Security and support logs: an activity log of changes inside a shop, and technical details such as IP address and browser type for logins, so we can spot abuse and help with problems.
- The website: messages you send us through the contact form. We use only the cookie that keeps you logged in or protects a form. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google.
How we use it
To run the service for you, to keep it secure, to answer you, to tell you about important changes, and to understand what to improve. We do not use your shop's orders to market anything to you or to your customers.
Your customers' information
For the customer details your shop enters, your shop decides what is collected and why, and we handle it on your shop's behalf only to provide the service. You are responsible for telling your customers how you use their information.
Who else sees it
- Our hosting provider, which stores the data and runs the servers, in the United States. It acts on our instructions.
- An email service, to send you messages from us.
- Authorities, if the law requires it, or to protect people from harm. We will tell you first when we are allowed to.
- Inside a shop, people see only what their role allows. Admins can see the shop's activity log and work records. On the Floor page, team members do not see other people's names or records.
How long we keep it
While your shop is active. After you close it we delete its data within 30 days, and our daily backups within another 30 days. Security logs may be kept for up to a year.
Security
We use an encrypted connection (HTTPS), hashed passwords and PINs, separate storage for every shop, limits on repeated login attempts, and daily backups. No system is perfectly secure. If something happens that affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.
Your choices
- Download your orders (spreadsheet) and a full backup yourself, any time.
- Ask us to correct, give you a copy of, or delete your information: write to the contact form on our home page.
- If you live in California or another place with privacy rights, you have the rights the law gives you. We treat requests the same way for everyone.
Children
The service is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18.
